2014 Wednesday Night Ladies League Information

Teams are forming and the 2014 season will be under way soon!  Our league play begins on May 21st and continues through August 27th. There's still room for more teams so if you are interested please contact ladiesleague@saranaclakegolf.com. Club membership is required and the league fee is $20 for the season.

The deadline for new teams is Friday, May 16th so don't delay!

MEETING CHANGE - Wednesday Night Women’s Golf League:

Due to the cold weather, the informational meeting for any women interested in playing in the Saranac Lake Golf Club’s Wednesday Night Woman’s League has been rescheduled to Monday, May 5th at 6:00PM at the golf club in Ray Brook. Tentative league start date is May 14th and a SL Golf Club membership is required in order to play in the league. We are a fun league with members of all abilities and new teams are welcome. Ladies Wednesday Night League Meeting

Anyone interested in playing in the Wednesday Night Ladies league should attend the annual league kick-off meeting on Monday, May 5th at 6:00pm. Tentative league start is May 14. We are a fun league with members of all abilities and are always looking for new people to join.

Wednesday Women's League Ends

The Wednesday Night Women's League ended recently with the team of Lorri Brown and Peg Kelly capturing first place in the A Division, closing out the year with 9 wins and only 2 losses.  Meanwhile, the team of Nancy Swinyer annd Nancy Heath won the B Division - defeating Amy Chapin and Polly Grebe int he playoffs.   The teams of Bailey / Sawyer and Caldwell / Reardon finished in a tie for 4th in the B Division.

Women's League Winding Down

The Wednesday Night Women's League is heading into its final weeks with a tight race at the top of Division 1.  The teams of Lorri Brown and Peg Kelly, Carol Baker and Tammmy Quinn, and Sandy Gagnon and Heather Foster are all tied for first place with identical 7-3 records.  The team of Lisa Yanchitis and Victoria Sturgeon are right on their heels with a 6-3 record.
