MEMBER APPRECIATION GOLF TOURNAMENT

We will hold a 9-hole 4-person Scramble, shot gun start at 10am on Sunday, September 13th. Each team must include at least two SLGC members. The cost is $100 per team. You can signup at the clubhousee.

Lunch will be served and prizes handed out immediately afterwards.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING
The meeting will take place immediately following the tournament, upstairs, in the clubhouse (around 1pm).

Following the 9-hole golf tournament, the club will hold its Annual Membership Meeting.  The Club will give it’s annual report to the membership and will hold elections for the Board of Governors.  If you, or another member you know, are interested in becoming a board member, nomination forms are available in the clubhouse.   

The role of each board governor is to actively participate in the overall affairs of the club from both a business and social aspect. Together, the board of governors make important decisions related to the ongoing club operational and financial needs.

Members attending this meeting will also have the opportunity to vote on proposed changes to the club’s bylaws and other business proposals requiring membership approval. More specifics will be included on the ballot, which will be sent out in early September.

As a part-owner in this member-owned non-profit corporation, this meeting is the one big opportunity each year for each of you to not only elect board members who will continue to advance the business and social needs of this club, but to voice your thoughts and ideas as well.
