Member Appreciation Memorial Tournament

This will be a 9-hole, 4-person scramble, with a shotgun start at 10 am. Entries are closed for this event and the golf course will be closed for the duration of the tournament. Immediately following the tournament, food will be served and prizes will be awarded, upstairs, in the clubhouse.

Annual Membership Meeting

The meeting will begin after the completion of the golf tournament. This will be around 1 pm. It should last one to one and a half hours. If you are not playing in the tournament, please try to attend the meeting. The board has a few new and exciting items to discuss with the members, such as announcing our new golf course superintendent (Tony's replacement) and the Irrigation Project status.

Board of Governernors' Election

Members at the meeting will be electing three new board members to the 9-person Board of Governors for the 2023-24 season. The role of each board governor is to actively participate in the overall affairs of the club from both a business, financial and social aspect. Together, the board of governors make important decisions related to the ongoing club operational and financial needs. The three current board members who are completing their 3-year terms, at the conclusion of this meeting, are Si Flores, Kathy Clark and Dean Baker. Dean and Kathy have indicated they WILL seek re-election to the board. Si IS NOT seeking re-election. So far, we only have the two nominations. We need more nominations to fill these important positions. If you are interested in being a part of this decision-making body, please consider running for one of these three board-of-governors positions. Additionally, any active member can nominate another active member for one of these three positions.

Raffle for a Free Membership

At the end of the meeting there will be a random drawing. One lucky member who attends the meeting will walk away with a free 2024 membership. YOU MUST BE AN ACTIVE MEMBER and BE PRESENT TO WIN.

As a part-owner of this Member-Owned non-profit corporation, this meeting is an ideal opportunity for each of you learn, first hand, about the ongoing affairs of the club, as well as to voice your thoughts and ideas.
