Due to the cold weather, the informational meeting for any women interested in playing in the Saranac Lake Golf Club’s Wednesday Night Woman’s League has been rescheduled to Monday, May 5th at 6:00PM at the golf club in Ray Brook. Tentative league start date is May 14th and a SL Golf Club membership is required in order to play in the league. We are a fun league with members of all abilities and new teams are welcome. The annual Club Day will be held on Saturday, April 26th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM with lunch provided for all volunteers. All members are urged to come out and help clean up the course for the 2014 season. Please bring rakes, shovels, work gloves and anything else that might help with cleanup. There is a significant amount of debris from the winter so any and all help is needed. See you there!
The Driving Range at the Saranac Lake Golf Club officially opened for the season on Saturday, April 12th. Please follow instructions for early season and only use plastic matting until further notice. Also, be careful of any mud in the parking area. Pricing is the same as last year.

If you're looking to work on your swing or warm up for a round, the Saranac Lake Golf Club has an excellent driving range available. Open to the public, the driving range is located off Route 86 opposite hole number 9.
1 Bucket of Balls: $5.00. About 70-80 balls
In effect all season and as defined by the USGA: A ball lying on a closely mown area through the green may be lifted, without penalty, and cleaned. Before lifting the ball, the player must mark its position. Having lifted the ball, he must place it on a spot within one club-length of and not nearer the hole than where it originally lay, that is not in a hazard and not on a putting green.
